To the east, rounded hillocks, to the west “the Seaside Part of Charente” deprives of any fierce contrasts, Le Pays d’Aigre is a harmony of landscapes dotted with typical built-up areas. Leading to the Atlantic, a delightful district for those fond of a traditional way of life; a place of ancient stones, remnants of our rich past, where all are welcomed by kind and simple people. Staying in the “Pays d’Aigre”, you’ll be far from the madding crowd, back to sources still very much alive.
